Lexi update! 20 months!

Okay, it has taken me a week to post this. Just an update on little Lexi and our family!
We have been living with Broc's parents and they live really close to the town splash pad so we have been spending a lot of time there. Lexi loves it!

Broc's work team finished up their softball season this past week and we managed to go to a few games now that the weather is nicer. They came in 4th place, so bummer they lost. But, summer season begins soon.

More splash pad fun. Since we used to live in the Bloomington Hills area, we would usually go to the Hidden Valley park. We have gone back there a few times now the the splash pad is on.
Only sometimes we don't go for the purpose of the splash pad...
that never stops Lexi.
I guess I should throw in some random photos too.
I caught Lexi stealing some food.
I hate that she can climb.
Right now one of Lexi's favorite words just happens to be
"Hat"
She loves hats. Especially dads.

Lexi is now 20 months old! I can't believe it! She is talking much more. Some of her other favorites to say:
-shoes
-chip
-coco
-hat
-hot
-bubgup (bubble guppies)
-car
-ball
-eye (she is into naming you features)
-puppy
-Nala ( the puppy)
-show
-baby
-outside
-bubbles
-nummy
-okay

She has such an attitude  a personality. She is growing so much, I kind of wish she would stop! She is becoming a lot more independent and she knows it. She no longer wants my help going down stairs, she plays so well by her self, she loves when she gets to watch her favorite TV shows.
I am so grateful that I am her mom. She helps me grow everyday.
Mostly helps me learn patience, but it's still growth!
I love you Lexi Lou!

Moving.

Broc and I have not had our own home for 2 weeks now.
It's not as bad as you might think. We sold one home and we are currently in the process of purchasing another.
When we decided to sell our house back at the first of the year, we planned on renting for a while to save up for another home.
Things never go as planned. We felt that we should buy instead.
We put our house on the market and within 2 weeks we had an offer and we accepted it.
So, we had about 3 week to decide what we wanted to do!
After looking and looking we finally found a home.
We sign all the paper work next week (May 1st)
I am super excited! Our new home will be a ton bigger, a huge fenced yard, basement, and just plenty of room for our family to grow.
For the mean time we are crashing with Broc's parents.

I really miss our little home.
So many memories were made there.

Easter 2014

Easter was a blast this year. I love holidays with kids, they make it much more fun. This year, we went to a Ward party a few days before Easter and had a BBQ and egg hunt. Lexi picked each egg up and wanted to open it before she put it in her basket.

Throwing Lexi!

On Easter, we were at Broc's parents since we are living with them at the moment. ( In the process of buying the home!) Lexi loved her new toys and candy.

Then we headed off to church and Lexi was adorable as always.

Lexi and Chloe (Madden didn't want in the photo)

Then, after Easter Dinner we had an Easter Egg hunt outside.

Easter was fun and I'm glad Lexi is getting old enough to have fun with Holidays. I'm grateful for the true meaning of Easter, but we will work on the true meaning of that with Lexi next year!
