Hiking, NBA, and Prego

Not much has happened with us, I just tend to take a lot of pictures! This past weekend Broc's family decided to go BBQ and hiking at Red Cliffs. Weather was great! It was fun! I realize how out of shape I am though! Here are a few snap shots of that fun day!

  

On Sunday, Broc  "jokes" to me...

"Babe we should go to the Jazz game on Tuesday."

I was thinking about work and about the drive! 4 hours there 4 hours back! We can't do that in one day!

But we did! Awesome!....

Broc got us some pretty good seats-I have to say I enjoyed watching it in person more than on TV.

I'm looking forward to the next game we go to!

 And last...pregnancy. 21 weeks. Some days I feel prego and some days I don't. I have noticed that my scrubs I wear to work are getting tighter and tighter..as for my jeans..I no longer button them.
Things are going well over all, we are having a girl and have decided on her name. Lexi Mae.
Lexi because we joked about naming out baby Lexis after the car and really liked it, but not with her middle name. So we decided on Lexi- and Mae because its my grandmas middle name-plus I think it has a little southern touch to it. If she isn't going to grow up with a cute KY accent-then Mae will do!

I have been feeling pretty well. People always ask me how I am doing and I always say...hungry! So I guess I am prego! I have only gained about 10 lbs which is great! Hoping to keep it low! We have an ultrasound coming up on May 14! Which is also our 2 year wedding anniversary! Crazy!
This year is flying by! I hope the rest of the year goes by because I want to meet my little Lexi! I love when I feel her move and knowing that she is our little girl!

Little Secret

Well, if you can't tell by all the pink...

Broc and I are having a baby girl! We tried and tried to keep it a secret for these 17 weeks and we did! It was tough! We wanted to share our joy! Now we can! All along I knew it was a girl! I kept having dreams that we were having a girl and I was right! How exciting! Lexis is set to join us on September, 4, 2012! Here are a few snap shots of our cute little girl! Its nice not having to call it..and it!

In sickness and in health

Well, what a week it has been! Last Monday started out like any other day. Work! I wasn't too bumbed to go to work. My parents just finished up their visit so I was ready to go make some money! It was good having them in town for a little bit. Anyways, back to my Monday. I went to work and was flying through the day. About 4:00 I start slowing town and coughing.
Oh no. What did I catch? My mom had just been here and was sick the whole time! I went home with just a sore throat not thinking anything of it.
Tuesday, I love Tuesdays right now because I only work a 1/2 day. I came home Tuesday about 3:30 and decided to take a nap because I was wore out. Broc was in Vegas for work but returning home that night. I woke up from my nap about 5:15 and was on my death bed it felt like. I was in pain, coughing, headache, fever, and just miserable! I called Broc and said "come take care of me!" I felt bad for ditching visiting teaching, but I wasn't getting out of my house. I hoped in the shower hoping that would make me feel better and I just felt hot and sick to my stomach. I just laid back down.
Broc comes home and 2 hours later he says. "Not to steal your thunder, but I'm starting to feel sick."
I thought he was just faking it.
No.
By Wednesday we were both feverish and sick! We still went to work, Broc only survived half day. I made it until 5...walked out the door and threw up. I went home, pulled the air mattress out and laid in the living room for the next two days. Diagnosis?
Broc- Rt ear infection, type a flu, and bronchitis
Ashley- Double ear infection, dehydration, and Sinusitis
All weekend was spent on the couch with a blanket. Now, back at work still not feeling my best, but at least I can sit up!
YAY FOR HEALTH!

Nothing New

Its been over a month since my last post, but thats because nothing has really gone on! Broc and I have been doing our usually and working all week and relaxing on the weekend. My parents did fly up for a quick 2 day trip this week. It was short and sweet! Fun to see them and just relax around the house, not to mention they got cheap flights too! I'm not sure when I will see them next though! Broc's birthday is this Month! ( I can't believe its already March!) I am so glad! I love St.George in the Summer! I love Summer! Broc's sister will be coming down in a few days and it will be fun to see her and the kidos! Other than that, I could post a bunch of pictures of my cute pup, but my phone is dying so I won't! Anyways! Back to the work week tomorrow! Have a great one!

Super Bowl? More like Super BORING!

Super Bowl. More like Super Boring. I am going to train my children not to like football. I hate spending my Sundays watching football! Thank goodness this is the last game! Broc loves it, and I'm not sure why. I would rather be...doing laundry, cleaning, working, anything than watching football. 15 minutes in foot ball is really 30 minutes. Even technology isn't keeping me occupied. Right, there are 30 seconds until half time. So in reality...2 more minutes. Wish me luck to get through the day.
On the other notes, I am going to try and start sewing! Wish me luck! I want to try and sew a few skirts because I have a hard time finding cute ones, modest ones, and cheap ones...even in UTAH! So, any tips please?!
My ramblings are over.

Evil Cuteness

Well not much in the Jenkins family. We are just working 5 days a week and trying to catch up with sleep the other two. We are loving our callings in our ward as well!

Well, this past week or two Tito has started a few new things....annoying things.

1. He knows when I am about to leave for work. Usually in the morning he will lay on our bed until we move him. Not anymore. Now, about 10 minutes before I leave he sneaks under the bed where I can't reach him! He really doesn't want to be suck in the kitchen all day!

2. I used to take him out side every morning when I would start my car to get it warm. Nope! I can't do that anymore. Now he thinks its funny to run out the door when I'm not looking and hide under all the cars! I can't reach him! I have to scare him with a broom all the way inside! Lets just say, mornings like that I'm not in the best mood!

3. Lastly. He is so picky! There will be a perfectly good bowl of water on the floor from this morning, but he won't drink ANY of it until he watches us put new water in it...FROM THE REFRIGERATOR! Goodness gracious!

But I do love him! Here are a few reasons why!

1. When Broc walks in the door he runs to get his toy!

2. His ear is always getting stuck

3. He is just too cute when he begs.

4. He loves to sleep with you!

5. He lets me wrap him up when its cold!

6. I love waking up to this!

Primary!

January 1st, I started my new calling. Senior Primary Chorister. I had NO idea what I was doing the first week. Second and third week, I was slowing coming along. It will all come with time. Right now, I teach the 8-11 yr old children. Their minds are so crazy! I am starting to love it. I love teaching them the words and meanings to the songs. I love that I can be fun with it! I am still shooting for ideas, so if you have any let me know! I have looked on Sugardoodle and found a few!

Anyways! I just wanted to share! This is my first "real" calling since I have been out to Utah. Who would of thought it would take 2 years!
